Acceptable Use & Community Guidelines

Last updated June 27, 2026

CFXMarket.gg is a marketplace built on trust between creators, buyers, and freelancers. This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what is and is not allowed on the Service. It applies to everyone and forms part of our Terms of Service. Breaking these rules can lead to content removal, loss of selling privileges, or a permanent ban.

1. Respect Intellectual Property

  • No leaked or stolen resources. Do not upload, sell, or share content you do not own or have the rights to distribute.
  • Do not repackage, rip, or resell another creator's work as your own.
  • Do not redistribute paid content you purchased unless its license clearly allows it.
  • Honor the licenses attached to assets, frameworks, and dependencies you build on.

2. Keep the Platform Safe

  • No malware. Never include backdoors, keyloggers, token grabbers, hidden data collection, or obfuscated code designed to harm or deceive users.
  • Do not ship code that phones home, exfiltrates server data, or installs unwanted software.
  • Clearly disclose any external dependencies, license checks, or callbacks your product requires.

3. Treat People Well

  • No harassment. No threats, hate speech, doxxing, or targeted abuse of other members.
  • No impersonation of other creators, staff, or brands.
  • No spam, scams, or deceptive solicitation in listings, reviews, or messages.
  • No manipulation of reviews, ratings, wishlists, or sales metrics.

4. List Honestly

  • Describe products accurately, including features, requirements, and known limitations.
  • Use screenshots and previews that represent the actual product.
  • Provide reasonable support and version updates for what you sell.
  • Keep listings in the correct category and free of misleading keywords.

5. Jobs & Escrow Rules

When you post or accept a job, deal in good faith. Where the Service provides escrow, funds are held until the agreed milestones or deliverables are accepted. To keep escrow working for everyone:

  • Do not take payments off-platform to avoid fees or escrow protection. Off-platform deals are not protected and may result in account action.
  • Agree on scope, deliverables, and timelines clearly before work begins.
  • Do not release or demand escrow funds through coercion or false claims.
  • Use the dispute process honestly if something goes wrong.

6. Prohibited Content & Activity

  • Cheats, exploits, or tools intended to attack servers or other players.
  • Content that is illegal, sexually explicit involving minors, or promotes real-world harm.
  • Attempts to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Evading bans, operating multiple accounts to abuse the Service, or laundering prohibited content.

7. Enforcement

We investigate reports and may act at our discretion to keep the community safe. Depending on the severity and history of a violation, we may:

  • Remove or hide listings, reviews, or messages.
  • Issue a warning or temporarily restrict features.
  • Suspend selling privileges or hold payouts pending review.
  • Permanently ban accounts and, where appropriate, pursue legal remedies.

If you believe an action was taken in error, you can appeal by opening a support ticket.

8. Reporting Violations

If you see leaked content, malware, harassment, or any other violation, please report it through our support tickets. Include links and details so we can review it quickly.
