Privacy Policy

Last updated June 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how CFXMarket.gg (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our marketplace for digital goods and freelance services. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

  • OAuth identity — when you sign in with Steam or Google, we receive a basic profile from that provider, such as your display name, account identifier, and (for Google) email address and avatar. We never receive your provider password.
  • Account information — your username, role, and any profile details you choose to provide on the Service.
  • Transaction information — records of purchases, sales, listings, jobs, and payouts. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us.
  • Content you submit — listings, messages, reviews, support tickets, and uploaded files.
  • Usage & device data — log data, IP address, browser type, and interactions with the Service, collected automatically.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To authenticate you and keep your session secure.
  • To process transactions and deliver digital goods.
  • To connect clients and freelancers for jobs.
  • To send notifications such as product updates, sale alerts, and ticket replies.
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Third Parties We Work With

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Service, including with the following categories of providers:

  • Stripe — our payment processor, which handles checkout, card data, and payouts. Your card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are subject to Stripe's privacy practices.
  • Steam & Google — identity providers used for sign-in. We exchange authentication data with them when you choose to log in.
  • Infrastructure providers — hosting, database, and analytics partners that process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
  • Other users — limited profile information, listings, and reviews that are inherently public on a marketplace.
  • Legal & safety — when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the Service.

4. Cookies & Sessions

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure your session. For details on the specific cookies we set and why, see our Cookie Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage much of your information from your account settings or by contacting us through a support ticket.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this page and communicate material changes through the Service.

10. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, contact us through our support tickets or the Help & Support center.
